Safe to ship, ready to audit.

Labs 24 secures AI systems against prompt injection, data leaks and agents that overreach, then produces the evidence your security team, auditors and regulators ask for. Controls live in code, not in a policy document nobody reads.

AI security and compliance at Labs 24, in short

AI security is protecting AI systems, and the data and tools they touch, from misuse and failure: prompt injection, data leaks, overreaching agents, poisoned data and runaway cost. Labs 24 builds these controls into every system with forward deployed engineers, tests them by attacking the system, and hands over the evidence auditors need.

01 / What it means

AI adds new ways in. Your old controls don't see them.

A firewall can't tell that a supplier's PDF is telling your assistant to approve a payment. AI systems read untrusted text, call your tools and remember things, so they need controls designed for that, built where the system runs.

09 / FAQ

AI security and compliance FAQ.

What is AI security?

AI security is protecting AI systems, and the data and tools they touch, from misuse and failure: prompt injection, sensitive data leaks, agents with too much power, poisoned data, unsafe outputs and runaway cost. Labs 24 builds these controls into the system itself and tests them by attacking it.

What are the biggest security risks in LLM applications?

The OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications (2025) lists them: prompt injection, sensitive information disclosure, supply chain, data and model poisoning, improper output handling, excessive agency, system prompt leakage, vector and embedding weaknesses, misinformation, and unbounded consumption. Labs 24 threat-models every system against this list.

How do you prevent prompt injection?

No single filter stops it, so Labs 24 layers defences: untrusted content is kept apart from instructions, every tool call is validated in code, agents get least-privilege tools with hard limits, high-impact actions need human approval, and an injection attack set runs before every release.

How do you stop an AI system leaking personal data?

Personal and confidential data is detected and redacted before it reaches a model or a log, retrieval checks each user's permissions at query time, outputs are filtered, and leak probes across user roles run on every release.

Does the EU AI Act apply to us, and when?

It applies to AI systems placed on the EU market or used in the EU, depending on risk level. Transparency duties apply from 2 August 2026. After the AI Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) entered into force on 27 July 2026, high-risk obligations apply from 2 December 2027 for stand-alone systems and 2 August 2028 for AI in regulated products. Labs 24 builds the technical controls and documentation; your legal counsel should confirm how it applies to you.

What is ISO/IEC 42001?

ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard for an AI management system: the policies, risk assessments, controls and improvement processes an organisation uses to run AI responsibly. Companies can be certified against it. Labs 24 produces the technical evidence an auditor would review.

Can we use AI with data covered by GDPR or India's DPDP Act?

Usually yes, with the right design: data minimisation, PII redaction, a lawful basis for processing, data kept in approved regions, provider terms that rule out training on your data, and deletion that reaches indexes and logs. Labs 24 builds these in; your data protection officer signs off.

What are the steps in an AI security review?

Labs 24 builds a threat model against the OWASP LLM Top 10, puts controls such as redaction, permissions and injection defences into the system, red-teams it and re-tests the fixes, then hands over the evidence pack and runbooks.

How much do AI security and compliance services cost?

Labs 24 prices after an initial threat-modelling embed, once the system, its data and the frameworks in scope are known. All controls, tests and evidence are handed over to the client.
